If you are travelling from outside of Australia then please be aware that you will require a visa for your trip. If you are coming from the UK this will take the form of an eVisitor visa (subclass 651) that is free and usually processed within two days.

Maleny is approximately a 75 minute drive north of Brisbane airport. We would strongly advise that you hire a car as public transport is very limited in the Glasshouse Mountains!

​

Maleny is a popular tourist area and accommodation books up early so we would suggest booking in advance. There are a few hotels (links below), multiple bed and breakfasts, and plenty of Airbnbs to choose from in and around Maleny & Montville.
